Highlights

The tour starts and ends in Perugia with 8 nights stay on the outskirts of Spello, on the doorstep of Assisi, and 3 days in the vicinity of Orvieto, both allowing splendid views over the surrounding landscape.
It includes walks among Sagrantino vineyards around Montefalco, on hills draped in silvery olive groves around Assisi, on panoramic routes in the Monti Sibilini National Park, on Roman aqueducts and evocative pilgrim trails.
We sample the wines and explore its medieval walled towns – with their blend of art, history, food, wine, landscape and crafts.

Tours in Umbria, Spoleto - ViaVino

We have designed each day’s itinerary to best explore the area, and to include some of the most panoramic routes and outstanding scenery.

You will be walking around some of the most beautiful waterfalls in Europe, take part in community festivals, or just enjoy the simple pleasure of an aperitivo in the piazza.

There will be visits to picturesque, tapestry-like towns that boast thousand-year-old history, perfectly preserved gems in contrast to jaw dropping modern architecture and designs smartly integrated into the local landscape.

The towns included in the tour are: Perugia, Spoleto, Spello, Assisi, Montefalco, Orvieto, Bevagna and Norcia.

There will be walks in idyllic country side, surrounded by gentle landscape, walks on ancient wine routes, on paths in Sibilini Mountains, surrounded by wild and lonely, heart-stopping beauty, seclusion and silence.
